When I started this blog I wanted my little home on the internet to do more than share travel tips. Here are the causes close to my heart, and how you can help too.
Regeneration International
Regeneration International works with children and adults who have been victims of human trafficking. Their mission is to provide safety, healing, empowerment, equipping, and education to those who are vulnerable to or victims of sex trafficking: assistance, resources, education, training, counselling, medical assistance, basic necessities and mentorship.
They have recently partnered with a school in Rwanda and set up a boys home in the Philippines, and are currently setting up a home for girls.
My fundraising appeal
This one is a more personal cause. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to become a father. I've looked into surrogacy for the last five years, hoping it could happen here in Australia, but unfortunately that's not the case, so I'll be pursuing surrogacy overseas. That means higher costs and most of my savings.
