Photo Use and Licensing
How the photos on this site can be used, and how to ask about anything that is not covered here.
Almost every photo on darrenjonathon.com was taken by Darren Jonathon. A small number are stock photos used under their own licences, or supplied by travel partners and credited where they appear.
Personal and editorial use
You are welcome to use a photo from this site in a personal blog post, a social media post or a school project, as long as you credit Darren Jonathon and link back to the page the photo came from. Please do not crop out or hide the credit.
Commercial use
Advertising campaigns, printed publications, tourism marketing, stock libraries and anything else commercial needs written permission first. Send the details of what you want to use and where it will appear, and you will get an answer with the terms.
Photos that are not Darren's
Where a photo came from somewhere else, the caption or the page copy says so. Those photos stay under the original owner's licence, so permission has to come from them, not from this site.
Asking for permission
Use the contact page and include the page URL, which photo, and what you plan to do with it. Requests are read by Darren himself.
